Frequently Asked Questions
Begin by contacting our team. We’ll review your lifestyle, configuration preferences, financing options, and timeline. A deposit secures your place in production. From there, you’ll work with a dedicated project manager to finalize layouts, review CAD drawings, and approve key milestones as your vehicle is completed. Along the way, we’ll share images and video of our progress.
Each Wanderbox is built according to your choice of configurations. We don’t stock a warehouse of look-alike vehicles. That means our lead time is currently four to eight months from when you place your Wanderbox order until it’s ready to pick up at our Colorado headquarters. Certain configurations may require less lead-time, while others may take more time to build.
As your completion date nears, the Wanderbox team will reach out to schedule a pickup date at our headquarters in Mead, Colorado. We strongly recommend spending a first night (or two) in nearby St. Vrain State Park. This gives you a chance to get the feel of your new vehicle and allows us to answer questions or make any adjustments while you’re just a short drive away.

Yes. Wanderbox offers tours at expedition, overland vehicle and camping shows and occasionally hosts pop ups or other events. Please take a look at our calendar and come check us out! You’re also welcome to visit our facility for a tour or to meet our team. Just give us a call first to arrange a date so that we can be ready to spend time with you. Yes, we’re here for you throughout the life of your expedition vehicle. Regular maintenance and service for every Wanderbox we sell is available at our headquarters in Mead, CO by appointment. All customers also receive our Customer Hotline number in the unlikely event that you experience any issues after you take delivery—or if you just have a question. Your Sales Consultant can give you more details about our support services.
CONTENT TDB
Every Wanderbox includes a five-year warranty on items we fabricate and the installation of the components we use and a ten-year structural and lamination warranty. All installed plus appliances and consumer electronics included with your Wanderbox have the warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. In addition, the Ford, Chevy, RAM and International HV chassis have their own manufacturer’s warranty.
